About event
They finally arrive in Prague. The best and most faithful to the original -> EKV tribute band - Deca iz vode.
The project was created in 2015 in Belgrade with the idea of preserving the memory of Milan Mladenović, EKV and their creativity, and to convey to the audience as closely as possible how it was once when Milan, Megi and Bojan played with various drummers and filled halls all over the former Yugoslavia. One of the main features of this band is that it is the only active EKV tribute that is identified with the former original line-up.
Dece iz vode's repertoire includes the greatest hits and the best songs from all EKV albums. Children of the Water concerts last over two hours and are full of energy and emotion, and the audience's reaction is usually euphoric. They are also known for their cooperation with former members of EKV (Žika, Raka, Bole, Tanja). Legendary drummer and famous actor Srđan Žika Todorović is a frequent guest at this band's concerts, because, as he says, they remind him of the real EKV in appearance, spirit and energy.
Deca z vode has held more than 200 concerts and events throughout ex-Yugoslavia and Europe for the past ten years, most of which were sold out.
The first concert in Prague will take place on October 2, 2026 in the club 007 Strahov, starting at 7 p.m. After the concert Ex-Yu rock after party.
