About event
Gabriela Abundanza is a DJ and facilitator of Ecstatic Dance living in Catalonia. For more than 15 years, she has seen dance as a path to greater awareness, personal growth and a deeper connection with oneself.
Her musical sets are intense and gentle at the same time. It creates space for free movement, authentic expression, joint connection and joy of movement. In her sets, she creates a safe space in which the body, heart and spirit can come together in one authentic dance experience.
She studied psychology and psycho-physical therapy, is a 5Rhythms dancer and in 2018 completed Ecstatic Dance facilitator training under the guidance of Albert Pala.
Ecstatic dance is a great opportunity to experience yourself directly, which is why we do not use any drugs or alcohol here. It's a way to relax, turn off your mind and tune in to your heart. Dance is based on intuitive and free movement, without the need for technique or imitating others. At the same time, it is an ideal opportunity to step out of the comfort zone and open up.
