About event
With: Simone Münzner
Do you play a wind instrument or percussion and would like to rehearse and perform in an orchestra with old and new friends? Then the three-day orchestra at the Landesmusikakademie Berlin is just right for you! You will be provided with the sheet music for practicing after registering.
The theme for 2025 is "Light and Shadow" with the focus: symphonic brass music - original literature. Pieces such as "At Morning's First Light" (David R. Gillingham) and "Lichtblicke - Rays of Hope" (Kurt Gäble) will be played.
The three-day orchestra is a multi-generational orchestra: all ages are welcome and the focus is on music! We rehearse in tutti and registers and gain new experiences under the guidance of orchestra professionals. Everyone who wants to expand their playing skills, get to know new people and bring a great workshop concert to the stage together is welcome. Join us!
Please indicate in the comments field which instrument you want to play in 2025. Please also state the vocal range (e.g. alto saxophone and not just saxophone).
The reduced price applies to students with proof.
