About event
During a tour of a well-known museum around the corner, Mark finds more similarities to real corpses in the medieval paintings than the painters could actually have known.
Criminal biologist Dr. Mark Benecke devotes himself, in a bizarre and sometimes disgusting way, to exciting questions that sometimes one would rather not have answered: Why, for example, are the fingernails of the bloated man's corpse so long and what type of maggot is crawling out of the corner of his mouth? So death is not Benecke's job, but life after death. If the maggots expose the murderer, he has done everything right... Follow him into a shocking and fascinating world.
Through Benecke's analysis of various insects that were found on corpses, countless criminals around the world have been able to find them the craft is laid down. However, the viewer's stomach can easily turn when looking at some of the photos. Because what is shown is not the usual images, but rather images of severely disfigured corpses. The really interesting questions can only be clarified through detailed close-ups.
The Cologne criminal biologist was trained by the FBI and operates internationally. Benecke has set up special laboratories in Colombia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Numerous radio and TV appearances testify to the public's great interest in his work. Here the viewer gets an insight into the work of one of the most famous and successful criminal biologists in the world...
Please also note all of our appointments with Dr. Mark Benecke, that late entry is only possible after the break and that there is an age restriction (entry only from 16 years). Photo and video recordings are prohibited and cell phones must also be switched off. We ask for your understanding.
