About event
A fresh cultural emulsion for the young and fresh in spirit from 16 to 30 years old: a little exhibition, a little lecture, a little experiment. And especially fresh oxygen.💫 This time with the artist Jiří Petrbok and a workshop focused on breathing and movement techniques with Markéta Richterová.
👋🏻 Breath and movement are something automatic and self-evident for most of us, but at the same time they are closely related to the psyche, emotions and the way we experience our own body. DOXYGEN for the Patient's Diary exhibition will focus on breath as a means of concentration, calming and intense perception of oneself and the surrounding world.
The exhibition will be conducted by the artist Jiří Petrbok in dialogue with the curator Otto M. Urban, and will primarily open up the themes of vulnerability and physicality that permeate the exhibition. The guided tour will be followed by a workshop with Markéta Richter focused on breathing and movement techniques based on the Feldenkrais method and supporting awareness of one's own body. The program is loosely based on the moments when Jiří Petrbok used intensive work with the breath as part of his creative process and a way to enter other levels of experience and imagination.
DOXYGEN is lectures, workshops, discussions, creative workshops and anything in between. Contemporary art, contemporary phenomena, contemporary personalities and the contemporary moment. The format of the young generation to yourself.❤️
