Do Bubenče za podnikateli

Annotated walk through the Bubeneč villa district.

In particular, the houses of merchants and entrepreneurs will come into focus. The participants of the walk will see the magnificent residences of the extended Petschk and Bondy families. They will learn where one of the most important bankers of the First Republic lived, where the heir of a well-known paint factory had a villa built, and what fate awaited some of the local residents during the Second World War. The walk will lead through Pod kaštany, V Tišín, Na Zátorka and Pětidomí streets. It deliberately misses the surroundings of Slavíčkova Street, where the houses of some artists are located - this route is followed by another walk called To Bubenče za úlmelci.

Practical information:

• Meeting point: at the exit from the "Hradčanská" metro station - on the patch opposite the restaurant Dejvická sokolovna (Dejvická 2)
• Length of the walk: approx. 1.5 hours
• End: Pětidomí street
• Ticket pre-sale ends one hour before the start of the walk.
• Tickets can be purchased in cash on the spot, but only if the walk is not sold out.
• The organizer reserves the right to cancel the walk in case of low interest. The participants with the ticket will be informed about the cancellation of the walk and the money will be returned to their account.
