Deus ex mikrofona is a series of meetings of the improvisational group My boys, who hang out with a different director each time. Live direction, live improvisation – an unrepeatable evening.

A theater rehearsal can become an improvisation, and vice versa, an improvisation can become a theater rehearsal. The boundaries between prepared and spontaneous are disappearing. They get into a vulnerable situation with the director. He does not normally direct in front of the audience and the ensemble is used to working without authority. None of them know what to expect from the other. Together with them, the audience can see behind the scenes and the creative processes of the personality in question. In this game, it is not clear who writes the rules or what they even are, let alone who is on the move.

The ensemble wants to embody the work of the director, who is normally "invisible". Can he maintain his own authenticity and spontaneity and at the same time fit into the mantiles set by him? With this series, the group wants to point out the paradox of creation, i.e. the (impossibility) of directing a production of an improvised nature. Can he confront his improvisational skills with the new and unknown?

Jan Frič
Jan Frič comes from Košíř. Dormant member of Doctor Beauty Society. He is dedicated to very artistic spoken theater on large drama stages and in the independent sphere, but in reality he creates musicals without songs. His primary sources of inspiration include The Simpsons, Jakub Deml and the Roland TB-303 synthesizer. He loves the theater and would like to do it. Jan Frič is a theater director and DTP operator. Audiences can recognize his work from the National Theatre, A studio Rubín and coloring pages from stationery. His interests include the pursuit of decent working conditions for people working in culture and tramping.

The show is suitable for ages 15 and up.
