Detvanka

A story that takes you to the heart of the village, where traditions, nature and people live together in close connection. Detvanka by Jana Iru is a book full of emotional stories, human strength and relationships that are both fragile and unbreakable.

We invite you to a book discussion where we will talk about the fate of the characters, about life in a small village, about love, friendship and decisions that shape the whole world around us. Jana Iru will share her inspiration for creating a story and how deep and engaging stories are born from ordinary human situations.

An evening for readers who like heart-warming stories, strong female characters and the atmosphere of the Slovak countryside, where every detail and every emotion has its meaning.
