Detox

The author's collage of well-known dramatic texts about desire, addiction and failure is a statement of future graduates of the theater faculty.

A young unsuccessful actress, Soňa, has to go to a drug addiction treatment center after turbulent events. To heal, to try to pull herself together, to confront unrealistic ideals and the unfulfilled notion of instant fame that her lifestyle prevented. How can she do it if her only escape from the cruel reality is drugs and Czechs?

What can the theater give us and take away from us? Young artists tend to believe in ideals, to imagine fame and instant success. But how to cope with a reality that is not as positive as they thought? How can you do theater in unstable conditions? Is there a way out of the toxic theater industry?
