Dear visitors, we cordially invite you to the CNB Visitor Center in Prague, where we will celebrate Children's Day together on May 30. 🥳👦👧
Do you want to test how much strength it takes to lift a gold brick? 💪 View the largest gold coin in Europe? 🪙 Or find out how difficult it is to keep inflation at the two percent inflation target? 🧭
📌 There will also be the popular exhibition The World of Banknotes by Oldřich Kulhánek, which brings closer the work of the important Czech graphic artist and author of our banknotes.
📌 Every extra half hour you will be able to become a part of Alois Rašín's life for a while in his Studio - the latest part of our offer, which was created as part of the celebration of 100 years since the first central bank was established.
📌 To this important jubilee a rollup traveling exhibition mapping the first years of the Czechoslovak National Bank, the direct predecessor of the CNB, will also be made available for the first time.
📌 In addition to visiting our exhibits and exhibitions, the program will also offer creative workshops in the workshop rooms 🎨, balloon shaping 🎈 as well as a special children's tracking game and prize competitions. 🏆
📌 The day will also include the ceremonial announcement of the winner of the 4th annual Czech National Bank Governor's Award for contribution to the development of financial and economic literacy. CNB Governor Aleš Michl will present the award to a personality who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of this educational field in the Czech Republic.
