It is the first YMCA house in Europe, built in the spirit of interwar architecture and served for cultural, sports and social purposes for more than a hundred years. This is the first, at the time of the young, Moravian architect Alois Balan. During the construction he chose the type of palace architecture with elements of unique Rondo Kubism in the interior. Behind her walls since 1923, when the building was completed, there are surprising stories, unexpected primacy and unique corners. After a period of nationalization and cultural use (cinema, club space), today is a symbol of communities that its supporters are trying to save and restore for the future.
