About event
One of the world's most appreciated groups of experimental hip-hop Dälek again in Prague! Imagine the brutality of Godflesh, the unpredictability of Aphex Twin, the elegance of Massive Attack, the dance vibration The Young Gods and the smuggled guitar binding of My Bloody Valentine. Add to this the dark industrial beats reminiscent of Einstürzende Neubaten and the warm energy of the conscious rap following the example of public Enemy. At the Dälek concert you get it all at once in a huge ball of raw energy.
Maximum, often physical experience, intense clash with noise wave and restless comments. Dissonant noise is tempted by endless fights with hard beats. Strict hip-hop versus psychedelic thunder. Dark atmosphere of dirty night streets. The hopeless loneliness and isolation in the middle of the most populous city. Since 1998, when they got together, their music has remained irritating secrets.
"Dälek play hip-hop for people who hate hip-hop," says one of the reviews. "It is certain that the foundations of Dälek are the toughest, the original hip-hop," says the second. "It's actually hip-hop in the purest sense," says Mc Dälek. They publish on the label Mika Patton Idecac (also on exile on mainstream), cooperated with The Young Gods, Techno Animals and many others. In the Anguish project, they connected with members of Krautrock Faust and Freejazz Fire! Orchestra.
