About event
Dälek (USA, IPECAC rec.)
==== Without any exaggeration, Dälek is the pioneers of the timeless hip-hop, drawing on both the public Enemy and from My Bloody Valentine. The massive sound of Dälek defines the dark and hard industrial beats reminiscent of Einstürzende Neubaten and the noise wall of sonic fog and dissonance. Not only hip-hop and experimental electronics but also punk and metal meet at their concerts. The raw energy that Dälek passes through their appearances is ruthlessly strengthening the way forward, regardless of the conservative expectations of the genre form.
🌒 Dälek play hip-hop for people who hate hip-hop, they say. At the same time, it is a hip-hop in the purest sense and perhaps the hardest form. Their albums are released on the IPECAC Recordings label Mike Patton, where this year the re-edition of the debut album Negro, Necro, Necros. Dälek returns to Brno after more than seven years. href = "https://www.instagram.com/dleknwk"> https://www.instagram.com/dleknwk href = "https://open.spotify.com/artist/1zdrsljpyel0jrule4yp"> https://open.spotify.com/artist/1zdrsljpyel0jrule4yp
Symbiosis of industrial and post-rock. Viennese band Phal: Angst was created at the turn of the thousands inside the DIY hardcore punk scene and never renounced the principles that are inherent in this environment. The electronic musician Angst, who founded a digital non-profit platform for alternative projects Med-uSER.NET, popular in the Austrian autonomous scene, plays a key role here. Stylishly Dälek (next to Justin Broadrick) took care of the remix of their penultimate album Phase IV. Dark, hypnotic sound and atmospheric industrial post-rock songs Phal: Angst addresses all who are looking for music with depth and message.
