About event
With his new program “DRAMA KING”, the Wiesbaden comedian Cüneyt Akan presents a humorous journey through the tribulations of everyday life - somewhere between failed relationships, identity crises and nostalgic longing. He makes it clear: You don't have to understand everything in life - after all, he doesn't either.
With a good portion of self-irony, quick-witted dialogues and a lot of spontaneity, Cüneyt tells about the small and large dramas of life, but please not too dramatically. Instead of flat punch lines or cliche comedy, he brings real feeling to the stage - charming, empathetic and always with a wink.
As a German-Turk, Cüneyt Akan speaks with honest openness about family, work and social issues - approachable, authentic and based on real life. He is already known to many from his appearances on “NightWash live” or in the “Quatsch Comedy Club” in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, as well as from TV. Anyone who sees Cüneyt live quickly notices: this is not a typical comedian. Funny, profound, surprising - and definitely not what you expect from comedy.
