About event
Crunch Tapes & Positive Transmitter present:
Cult Member (CA / live)
Canadian producer Cult Member (Liam Hayden) crafts a shadowy, hypnotic strain of electronic music that fuses techno, acid, and left-field club influences into something both emotionally charged and distinctly atmospheric. Emerging from Canada’s underground scene and gaining early attention with releases like Ethernet on Pure Life Tapes, he has shaped a sound built on brooding textures, tense rhythms, and a pull between euphoria and unease. With support from platforms such as NTS and a steady shift from experimental beginnings toward a darker, more hard-edged club aesthetic, Cult Member stands out as a quietly influential figure in today’s underground electronic landscape.
