About event

On 29 November at 16:00, we gather at Pariser Platz in Berlin to draw attention to the escalating repression in occupied Crimea.
Since the beginning of Russia’s occupation, Crimeans (Crimean Tatars) — the Indigenous people of the peninsula — have faced a systematic campaign of terror: abductions, killings, home raids, intimidation, and torture.

Today, over 250 Crimeans are imprisoned on politically motivated charges. Many are held in inhumane conditions, tortured, and denied basic rights. Their families are left behind to struggle alone, and hundreds of children are growing up without their parents.

Despite the scale of these abuses, Europe still knows far too little about what is happening in Crimea. In recent months, the wave of repression has intensified, and even women have been detained in the latest arrests.

Berlin must not remain silent.
We are gathering to ensure that the voices of Crimean political prisoners are heard and that the crimes committed against the Crimean people are not ignored.
Join us to demand their freedom — and justice for Crimea.
