About event
FEN SPECIAL – masterclass for all instrumentalists with RONI EYTAN, one of the masters of jazz harmonica
In this session, NYC-based harmonica player Roni Eytan who studied under artistic direction of Herbie Hancock and Wayne shorter at the Herbie Hancock Institute in New York, will share different ways how to keep the practice routine engaging and enjoyable, while still staying focused and effective—especially when time is limited.
Often, the challenge is turning so-called “boring” tasks into something more musical and inspiring. Repetition, for example, is crucial for developing many skills in music. Rather than avoiding it, Roni believes in finding ways to transform repetitive exercises into fun and exciting games—ones you can get lost in. When approached like this, practice becomes less of a chore and more of an exploration.
Roni wants to share tools and strategies that can help musicians—not only harmonica players, of course!—at any level turn their practice time into something creative, focused, and genuinely enjoyable.
