Bernard Eisenschitz returns to the Cinemateca for a conference on the work of Chris Marker. Active since the sixties, linked to the Cinemateca Française, Cahiers du Cinéma (1967-71), other publications such as Trafic, and founder in 2001 of Cinéma magazine, Eisenschitz is the author of books such as Boris Vassilievitch Barnet (2024), Douglas Sirk, ne Detlef Sierck (2022), Roman Américain: Les Vies de Nicholas Ray (1990), Fritz Lang au Travail (2002) ou Gels et dégels : une autre histoire du cinéma soviétique, 1926-1968 (2002). He also participated in the French edition of the complete works of Sergei Eisenstein and was responsible for Chris Marker, a monograph published in 1996 by the Pesaro Festival, or for the publication in France of the works of Georges Sadoul.
