About event

Lukáš Richter (Process Improvement Consultant) and Peter Džupa (Petramed) recently visited Japan together, where they had the opportunity to speak personally with the owners and directors of Japanese companies. Thanks to these valuable meetings, they will bring you their perspective on the key principles behind their success. The discussion will focus on the following topics:

COMPANY CULTURE AND MINDSET
The Japanese approach to work is not only about efficiency, but also about continuous improvement (kaizen) and finding the root causes of problems. We will examine how we can apply these principles here and whether it is realistic to expect similar results in our environment.

INNOVATION AND SYSTEMATICITY
While Japanese companies may not always be pioneers in revolutionary innovation, they excel in systematic process improvement. We will discuss why they have no problem repeating the same activities, how they are constantly looking for opportunities to improve, and how this approach allows them to keep up with global competition.

DEMOGRAPHICS AND SENIOR EMPLOYMENT
Japanese society faces the challenges of an aging population , similar to those that await us in Slovakia. However, Japanese companies take an honest approach to the overall development and retention of their employees, with HR playing a key role. Not only do they support the employment of seniors and create part-time jobs, but they also actively work on the development of their employees at all stages of their careers. Examples are seniors who maintain their physical and mental fitness to remain employable in old age, and development programs for people over 50. This comprehensive approach to human resources can bring us important inspirations.

If you want to gain new perspectives on how businesses work in one of the most interesting markets in the world, don't hesitate. The discussion is intended for everyone who is interested in process improvement, corporate culture and the development of people in companies.
