Človek a príroda - 1. cyklus - 10/2024 - Bratislava

The purpose of the training is to introduce the principles of changing the approach to science education, in which the teacher shares the responsibility for education with his students.
This mainly means transferring the activity from the teacher to the student. The teacher is an experienced research partner for the students. It helps them discover new information, leads them to think, create contexts and connect with what the student already knows, in order to ensure applicability in everyday life and in further learning.

The training is carried out through workshops, within which training participants will try their hand at discovery-oriented activities from the position of pupils. Sometimes in the form of observation, investigation, research, other times by working with different sources of information that are adapted to the age characteristics of the pupils. Part of this experience is the subsequent didactic analysis of the goals of individual activities and the approximation of experiences with this approach at pilot schools.
