✨ Let's all read, reading is great
The motivational competition for 1st grade elementary school students has a 62-year tradition this year. It supports reading habits, information literacy and brings the world of books closer in a fun way. During the school year, children visit the library, explore its premises, participate in creative workshops, discussions, exhibitions and educational activities - including work with 3D printing, ozobots and microbits. At the event, we will honor the most active participants who not only borrowed books, but also actively participated in the life of the library.
✍️ I write, you write, we write
The literary competition for primary school pupils supports the development of literary talent and imagination. The 24th edition will take place in 2026. The competition takes place in three age categories, genres of poetry and prose. An expert jury, composed of regional writers and educators, will select the most interesting contributions, the authors of which will be ceremoniously awarded during this event.
🎶 Musical performances - a singing experience from the region
Children's choirs will be presented on stage, bringing freshness, energy and joy to music:
Bose Osy - ZUŠ Dezidera Kardoša, Bánovce nad Bebravou
Representative choir with successes at home and abroad, under the direction of conductor Simoneta Adamková.
Osminky – ZUŠ Karol Pádivý, Svinná branch
The young choir under the direction of Ľudmila Čahojová was founded in 2022 and quickly developed into a distinctive musical body.
Voiceana – ZUŠ Karola Pádivého, Trenčín
Osminkov's "younger sister" was also created under the leadership of Ľudmila Čahojová in the fall of 2024, but it already delights today with its expression and harmony.
📖🖊️🎶 Come support young talents, discover the beauty of words and enjoy an afternoon full of inspiration and creativity. We look forward to seeing you in Trenčín!
