About event
Jazz Nejtek Selection presents talents on the jazz scene. This time you will have the international formation Christian Marien Quartet!
🎷 Tickets: https://goout.net/cs/listky/christian-marien-quartet/ojefb/ drummer Christian Marien. It is his first author's project in his own name - and at the same time a formation that uniquely embodies freedom, collective perception of the presence and the joy of improvisation. In addition to Marien in the band, there are three prominent personalities of the European scene: saxophonist and clarinetist Tobias Delius, guitarist Jasper Stadhouders and double bass player Antonio Borghini. Marien's compositions here serve as framework that musicians spontaneously develop, bend and find again. The result is music, which is also playful and deep, energetic and gentle. The quartet constantly oscillates between the structured and free, traditional and experimental. Critics highlight not only virtuosity and empathy among players, but also the ability to create music that looks quite natural and at the same time unexpectedly. It is jazz without borders - joyful, concentrated and constantly in motion.

The concert is arranged with the support of Liveurope - the first pan -European initiative supporting concert clubs in their efforts to organize concerts starting with European artists. The Liveurope project is co -financed by the European Union program Creative Europe.
