Christian Löffler & Sven Helbig – Concert Tour 2026
The electronic musician Christian Löffler and the composer Sven Helbig will go on tour together for the first time in 2026. Both share a special style when dealing with sound: Löffler creates emotionally dense electronic compositions using minimalist means - between club culture, art music and observation of nature. Sven Helbig, on the other hand, as a composer and sound researcher, moves between classical music, choral art and subtle electronics. For this concert tour, the two of them are developing a joint program that flows smoothly from Helbig's music into Löffler's. At the center is a shared piano quartet, which serves as a connecting element for both artists. The listeners experience a thoroughly composed evening in which orchestral depth, intimate chamber music and electronic textures merge.Helbig's work Requiem A, which premiered with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra in 2025, caused an international stir. Here, his work with choir, electronics and classical ensemble meets Löffler's fragile, often pictorial sound worlds - a connection that opens up surprising perspectives. Two artistic positions, two manuscripts become a musical border walk between structure and atmosphere, between past and present.
