About event
Toxic planet and toxic music.
Like the garbage dumps near Oklahoma, after which the American band took its name, the music of the noise-rock quartet Chat Pile is a suffocating and at the same time grotesque embodiment of existential angst of the 21st century.
Chat Pile will bring their work embodying American nightmares rather than dreams on August 9th to Fuchs2.
But if you want to be the first to access them, sign up for our newsletter, which goes out a day earlier.
On the previous year's record Cool World, the band returns to its characteristic sound and the themes of violence and injustice in the contemporary world, which this time it explores on a fully global scale.
Foreign and domestic disasters meet together on one dying planet, and there is no choice but to look at them directly and without embellishment. "Cool World is about the price for which we eat sugar in America," singer Raygun Busch summarizes the album.
