Cesty Čínou Pavla Dvořáka: Tibetský roadtrip

Pavel Dvořák's talk about China is connected with the screening of the author's photos and videos, which will take the audience to beautiful and tourist-less known places - areas of western Sichuan inhabited by Tibetans. Part of the program will be the premiere of Pavlov's new travel film Tibetan Roadtrip.

Pavel Dvořák is a native of Budmerice. He comes from a family of writers and historians. His father, Pavel Dvořák Sr., was an important Slovak historian, writer and publicist; his mother, Daniela Dvořáková, is a Slovak historian, archivist and publicist.

For Pavle, his great love for China has become a dream come true - he has been living there for sixteen years, together with his Chinese wife Liya. He has so far published two books about his life in China - My Chinese Decade and Hard Times in China.

He is dedicated to filming and creating videos on his YouTube channel. He produced a series of documentaries about China for RTVS in 2023 - Cesty Čínou.
