Cesta do minulosti: Malá Strana

The guided walk will take participants to the historical center of Malá Strana, where, in the shadow of important monuments, they will learn the stories of places connected with the history of Prague and the lives of its inhabitants.

The route will lead through the grounds of the Valdštejnské palace, where the fates of important noble families will be remembered, and then to the foundations of Judith's tower, which are still reminiscent of the former Judith bridge, the predecessor of the Charles bridge. The tour will continue along the Charles Bridge to the Vltava River, whose waters have witnessed the siege of the city, devastating floods and harsh winters.

Participants will get to know important personalities and lesser-known figures who helped shape the character of this historic quarter, and discover the stories hidden among its picturesque streets. The walk will also include a reminder of the attractions associated with the local fauna, including peacocks, which inherently belong to the atmosphere of the Lesser Town.
