Ceilidh aneb večer skotských tanců

Evening ceilidh ("kejlí") for absolute beginners, in which

🐈 THERE WILL BE:

Irish/Scottish music from the floor

Dancers galloping through the trellis

General merriment and mayhem

Select Scotch whiskey and British gin at the open bar at popular prices (payment on the spot via QR code)

Further light refreshments in the Žižkostel cafe (free water)

Those in comfortable shoes on the low heels and clothes you feel comfortable in (you'll probably sweat a little - adjust your choice of materials accordingly and feel free to take a t-shirt to change into) (plus points for tartan)

Aya on stage explaining the steps for 8 simple group dances

Aya on stage calling the steps to the music so you don't have to remember a fart

🐈 WILL NOT:

High heels / uncomfortable shoes - you'd see yourself or others

Worries like "I don't dance" - ceilidh is chaotic hopping to happy music, not dancing.

Worries like "I don't have anyone to dance with" - everyone dances with everyone at a ceilidh

TIME: Entry possible from 18.30, we start hopping at 19.00. To maximize the experience, arrive early!
