The best of contemporary Slovak architecture is coming to Banská Bystrica. On Thursday, March 12, 2026, the CNK Záhrada will host a screening of the CE ZA AR 2025 full-length video documentary, which will present the finalists of the 24th year of the award in film form.
The screening will take place on March 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the CNK Záhrada (Nám. SNP 16/16). Entry is free, without registration.
The evening will also include a discussion with the guests - the authors of the nominated family house Banánka from the studio PAULÍNA HOVORKA ARCHITEKTI, who will explain the creation of the work and the behind-the-scenes of its realization.
CE ZA AR has been appreciating exceptional architectural works that shape our cities, public spaces and everyday life for 25 years. In addition to appreciating the realizations, it opens architecture to the public for a long time, supports the discussion about the quality of the environment and brings its social significance closer.
The video documentary brings a selection of the most outstanding realizations of the year and makes them available to audiences across regions. The project thus expands the mission of CE ZA AR - to connect the professional and lay public and draw attention to architecture, the quality of which goes beyond the local framework.
