Simple, but for Caskets it was a natural part of their journey. Instead of just riding on the wave of the success of their debut album Lost Souls, which ejected them on touring around the US and Europe and got them at great festivals like Rock for People, Download or Slam Dunk, decided to slow down and think about what they had experienced. The first album was created on the knee when the boys jammed and folded at night. Today he spends most of his time on the road - in the Tour Buses, in the hotel rooms - and that's where the questions have begun how much it has changed and where they are going.
New songs are much more team affair than before. Frontman Matt is no longer alone - guitarists Benji Wilson and Craig Robinson and drummer James Lazenby are also involved. "When the drummer brings you almost finished demo with the text, you know you're in good hands," laughs Matt as James once came up with an almost finished song. "We know each other much better today - we know what anyone likes, what bothers him, how to get on each other's nerves and how to help. The mutual cool is to know." to communicate. The album is not only a collection of songs, but a reflection of the whole band - their stories, influences and joint experiences from concerts and studio. "Music is why this band exists at all," Matt says. "And if we are able to get into our sound as new as possible and still remain faithful to ourselves, then it is a dream come true for me."
