About event

Journalist Miloš Čermák and his wife Senta, a successful manager with an international reach - open up a topic that is being talked about loudly, but we are not very clear about it...

Some people ignore AI, some claim to use it, some may even be a little good at it. And the gap between these groups is not shrinking — on the contrary. Those who work with it have it more and more deeply in their thinking, in their language, in their decision-making. Meanwhile, those who wait — and sometimes intentionally, out of ethical conviction — miss out on context that no one explains anymore because it's assumed.

In the last year and a half, AI has made a qualitative leap. She stopped following orders and began to think. Today, a person who has never written a line of code can program an application with it. Agents plan, decide, and work without someone guiding them step by step — in their personal lives, in teams, in entire corporations. Productivity increases. And with it, the questions that no one really addresses out loud also grow.

Is it good news or bad? Experienced middle-aged managers define themselves — not out of ignorance, but out of conviction. Ethical inhibitions are not backwardness. They are lines that people draw consciously. But where exactly is the line? Use AI where you don't enjoy what you're doing — but don't lose the joy where you have it. It sounds simple. In practice, no one is very good at it.

And where is this all leading us? Not in the sense of dystopian scenarios, but specifically — in three, five years? When the agents start working for us, what are we left with? How do you know where AI is helping you, and where it's quietly taking away something that defines you?

AI will be here. The question is not if. It's how, in what — and where you draw your line.

We will look forward to the 35th Lines in the Sand on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
Tomas Poucha and Tonda Parma are hosting.
