CAMP Tour: Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad

What needs to change in order for the square to start functioning sustainably and become a high-quality public space? A tour with architect Pavla Melková from the MCA studio will take you through the territory of Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrady from the visible changes to the layers hidden under the pavement. It will present how revitalization works with trees, shade, rainwater and the movement of people. What does it mean to design a place where a market is built in the morning and mass is held, where the subway, trams and buses run during the day and where in the evening a space for meeting, relaxing and neighborhood life is created? The tour will follow up on the discussion within our new CAMP Point and offer the opportunity to observe the transformation directly in the field.
