Buchpräsentation Alexander Hacke "Krach"

Biography of an exceptional artist between the Berlin underground and global success.

On November 21, 2025, Alexander Hacke will present his newly revised and expanded Autobiography “KRACH – Distorted Memories”, which will be published at the end of October 2025 as a book (Ventil Verlag) and audio book version (Fabrique Records – read by the author himself). Doors open at 7:30 p.m., starts at 8:00 p.m. - Barbara Kadletz will host the evening.

In this unique setting, Hacke will personally read from his work: an evening with one of the most influential minds of the German music avant-garde. “KRACH” tells of his path through punk, experimental music and the wild years of West Berlin - and of course also of the band with which he wrote music history for decades: the legendary Einstreichen Neuhäusern, whose sound worlds are still influential today.

But Hacke doesn't just look back: with projects like Hackedepicciotto and numerous current collaborations, he shows that he continues to research, experiment and create new artistic visions more excitingly than ever works.

A unique event for everyone who is interested in music history, counterculture and the radical attitude to life of an entire era - and for everyone who wants to experience an artist who is still exploring boundaries and creating new things today.

A big thank you to the Hotel The Harmonie Vienna.
