BOSSE, who is currently writing his tenth studio album, has announced a big hall tour in May and two first summer concerts for 2026. Fans of the artist can not only look forward to new music, but also to experiencing it live soon. While the first half of 2025 was primarily characterized by a comprehensive review of BOSSE's career to date (he published the compilation "BOSSE 2005-2025" and took part in the TV show "Sing meine Song - Das Tauschkonzert"), with his latest song "Vergangenheit", released at the same time, he already made it clear that this review should only be a short pause ("The future has so many beautiful new things in store"). In the second half of 2025, BOSSE will now devote himself completely to writing and recording his next album, in addition to several summer concerts, so that he can share his latest catchy tunes by May 2026 at the latest. Then BOSSE will dance on stage again, belt out his unique indie pop, merge with the audience with hits like “The Last Dance” and “Schönste Zeit” and euphoria the masses. Anyone who has experienced this once will always come back. Now there are enough chances for that!

~~

No one goes to a BOSSE concert just once. Anyone who has ever experienced how this charismatic performer works on stage and belts out his unique mix of indie rock, alternative and pop, how he melts into the audience with hits like “The Last Dance” or “Schönste Zeit”, how he euphorizes the masses, will want to experience it again and take as many friends with him as possible. But the passionate live performances are only one side of the artist - he creates the basis for this with his lovingly crafted albums, which expand classic singer-songwriterdom into pop and indie rock. On them he pours his thoughts into songs, condensing complex feelings into a language that is close to life, equipped with refrains that stay in your head without clogging it up. It's often about overcoming resistance, having a positive outlook on life despite self-doubt and the certainty that you're not alone even in bad times.

And he himself is the best example of how giving up is usually the worst option. His long journey to the top began with his birth in 1980 in the hilly surroundings of Braunschweig. He manifested himself with a strong focus on music in his childhood and experienced his first climax when he and his band secured a contract with a major record company while he was still at school. However, the early success turns out to be a bubble, the deal falls apart, as does the band, and Axel quickly finds himself alone with his talent again.

However, one of his core qualities is his unshakable belief in his own abilities, his persistence and his perseverance. Nothing in his career was given to BOSSE, he was never part of a hype, a casting show or a marketing campaign, he just kept going and played every concert as if it were a matter of his life - be it in front of ten people in a provincial bar or in front of tens of thousands on a festival main stage.

The turning point in his career came in 2009 with the album "Taxi", produced with the last money he had scraped together and the help of friends, driven by the single “3 Million,” which enters the top 100 for the first time. Suddenly the guests at the concerts increase, BOSSE's legendary reputation as a top performer gets around and the record companies are lining up to secure the collaboration.

From then on it only goes up: in 2011 the album “Wartesaal” reached number 9 in the charts, in 2013 “Kraniche” reached number 4, both of which were later awarded gold. From then on, every album makes it into at least the top 5, "Engtanz" and "Alles ist nun" reach number 1. The single "Schönste Zeit" becomes the anthem of Generation More than 700 concerts have turned the already highly motivated performer Axel Bosse into an entertainer and band leader in the style of Robbie Williams or Bruce Springsteen, who is aware at every moment of what his large band is doing and still always maintains a connection with the audience. BOSSE manages to address every visitor directly, even at arena concerts, and to create an atmosphere like a private party at club shows. He awakens universal feelings for several generations, shakes up, comforts and motivates with his optimism. He always uses it for political work. His commitment to the drinking water aid organization Viva Con Agua has existed for years, plus support for Hanseatic Help, Jamel rocks the forester, Dein Topf and of course always a stable stance against any right-wing tendencies.

BOSSE is a star without airs and graces, approachable but not everyday, clever but never secretive, accessible but not ingratiating, and in the long term without competition in the area of tension between German pop and indie rock.
