Bösendorfer Zyklus - Niels Lan Doky Solo Jazzabend

Jazz concert. Sir Niels Lan Doky, piano

Niels Lan Doky's music has been described as "fresh and provocative" (New York Times) and "ultra lyrical", his concerts as "blissful and unforgettable" (Hot House, New York) and himself as “a paragon of eloquence.” With improvisations characterized by thematic and harmonic genius, Lan Doky is an exceptional pianist with a wide musical range. He can be fiercely muscular and appropriately rhapsodic, but is best known for his sparkling charisma and romantic sensitivity.
For the first time, the brilliant jazz musician from Denmark's new solo program of original compositions and improvisational explorations will be performed in Vienna: a rare opportunity spontaneous, abstract-poetic creations that delve deeply into the present moment and make every performance by the jazz luminary a unique and extraordinary experience!
