"We press our lips to the enamel rims of the cups
and we know that this grease that floats
after the coffee will one day stop our hearts."
After exploring the hidden corners of the human heart in the texts of Flannery O'Connor, BodyVoiceBand works with the motifs of the American writer Raymond Carver. He follows human stories and relationships at the moment when we see another person with an alienated gaze, when we penetrate our own weakness, when "it's too late, too late...". The author, who himself knew well the weight of losses and declines, was able to capture in his stories the unsuspected power of details that give meaning and uniqueness to human life. The production Be already, please, quietly transforms his texts into a theatrical form that connects words and music in an intimate and intense meeting with the viewer.
