Hearing Black Sea Dahu is like standing barefoot in a thunderstorm – completely exposed, but deeply alive. The band around the Swiss singer and songwriter Janine Cathrein has created its own world: a collective, a family, a space for radical emotional honesty. With their upcoming album Everything (release: February 20, 2026), Black Sea Dahu goes deeper than ever before - not by reinventing themselves, but by showing even more of what was always there: the willingness to make oneself vulnerable, hope, self-reflection, sadness and the strong beauty of carrying all of this at the same time.

The new songs emerged from a wave of grief: the loss of Janine's father and the dizziness of living in a world, who struggles with herself. The band has a special appeal live - their concerts, sold out across Europe, become intense moments of collective feeling. In 2026, Black Sea Dahu will return to tour with Everything - intense, honest and deeply moving.
Between indie folk, chamber pop and art rock, their music defies any category. She doesn't want to impress - she wants to connect, carry, survive. In a roaring world, Black Sea Dahu gives something rare: quiet truthfulness.
