About event

Birth worker is sacred. We all bring such an important perspective to the table so let's gather, connect, grieve, laugh + learn together.

Hosted by Dr. Katie Kanda, DC and Kirsten Gwynn, CNM

Birthworker's of all kinds are welcome as we gather together to connect and learn. Expect to have time to mingle + chat, participate in the themed discussion, and end with a quiet meditation or gentle breathwork that hopefully helps you re-enter the birthwork world with groundedness + community.

2026 Themes:

  • Tuesday, Jan 13 - Theme: Art Therapy for Birth Workers. Join us as we engage our right brain to visualize and integrate the magic of what we do. Facilitated by a Licensed Art Therapist.
  • Tuesday, Feb 10 - Theme: Perinatal Gut Health with Dr. Kelsey Stang, ND. Learn more about ways to support GI issues in pregnancy like pre-existing GI diagnoses, and pregnancy related discomforts like reflux, nausea, constipation, and more with one of my fave Naturopaths in town!
  • Tuesday, Mar 10 - Theme: Exercise Education during Pregnancy + Postpartum with Dr. Katie Kanda, DC. So many people feel fear or uncertainty around what they can and can't physically do during pregnancy. Learn more about how to counsel your clients around ways to feel strong and capable (without overdoing it!) no matter where they are in their perinatal years.
  • Tuesday, April 14 - Theme: TBD
