Bianca Scout is an artist who finds it difficult rank. A dancer, performer and musician, she lets her wide range of interests and obsessions flow freely into her elegant and intimate productions. On her mysterious 2022 album The Heart of the Anchoress, the outlines of pop were still visible, but they were obscured by hazy temple music and a haunting atmosphere. On this year's Pattern Damage album, Scout sought to find a middle ground between contemporary dance, chamber music and dystopian electronica, transforming theatrical baroque fragments and evocative medieval harmonies into dusty, darkly tuned serenades.
Scout takes you into the dark depths. , to then lead you back outside. Her performances tend to have a magical atmosphere where fragility and strength, mystery and tension intertwine, and where every sound and movement contributes to the narrative. This is as mesmerizing as it is unsettling. 🪬🔮
