About event
The BARBAREN BARBIES are an international circus collective based in Berlin.
The focus of the productions is the love of comedy and the circus, which are combined on stage. Their refreshing and unabashed humor, combined with acrobatics, dance and theater, offers the audience an entertaining evening.
They come from Germany, New Zealand, Canada and Finland and were founded in Berlin in 2021. They have been touring through Germany and beyond the borders since March 2022 and played successfully at the Edinburgh FRINGE Festival in Scotland in August 2024.
“What unites the five women is not only their virtuoso ability, but also their wicked sense of humor.” -Berliner Morgenpost
“pure absurdist humor at its finest – surreal and delightfully bizarre” -Broadway Baby
“Courageous, unconventional, crazy - there was a standing ovation from the audience at the end.” - BNN - Badische Latest News
“This is the circus I never knew I wanted but now I want every time!” -Audience
