Bára Hrzánová & Condurango | Palác Akropolis

The band Condurango was founded in the early 1980s at DAMU by actress Bára Hrzánová and Pavel Anděl, who were later joined by Vladimír Kosík and Ivo Novák and in 1986 by Miloš Šikola. Over time, the band expanded to include young blood in the form of Antonín Holub, Matyáš Mejzro and Nicholas Roy Arthofer, as well as accordionist Mário Bihári. The music of Bára Hrzánová and Ivoš Novák echoes not only Bára's original texts, but also the works of well-known writers and poets, from Lorca to Morgenstern and Tolkien to Otokar Březina. Now Condurango returns to the music scene after a six-year hiatus in full force, with a new repertoire and an unmistakable energy that he gives to listeners of all generations.
