About event
Come together to honor the memory of two professors who were of great importance to the world of brewing and to commemorate their contribution to fermented chemistry. Karel Joseph Napoleon Balling was born on April 21, 1805. Among other things, he invented a sugar gauge and his achievements include the methodology of determining the quality of sugar solutions and the introduction of new scientific nomenclature. Antonín Bělohoubek was born on April 28, 1845, as a pupil of Professor Balling carried this beer torch and became associate professor of brewing. 🍺
The commemorative act will begin on Wednesday 23. 4. At 10:30 before entering the Olšanské cemeteries (at the Olšanské cemetery tram stop).
