A fixture in the German-speaking music landscape for 25 years. Indispensable. Inimitable. Unbroken.
ASP do their thing - authentically and always true to themselves and their fans - and this applies MORE THAN EVER in 2026.
In 1999, a young band asked the German rock landscape, seemingly contradictory and yet self-confident: “Did you miss me?”. Especially demanding people and those who think differently have rewarded this chutzpah and have been answering the question with a consistent yes for over 25 years, making ASP the galleon figure of an entire scene. The band, with the frontman wearing scary make-up, always went to work with a good deal of awkwardness and mastered the balancing act between lyrical demands and playful lightness. At the same time she plays in several genres from heavy rock to electro to folk ballads - and ultimately none. Because no box fits - too many styles serve the stories published on the exciting and courageous concept albums.
One thing is certain: ASP are always an experience on stage - whether at the hall concerts, as headliners of the relevant scene festivals or at major metal events such as the Wacken Open Air and the Rockharz - and they will prove that again in 2026 after their live break.
