Architektura interaktivně – baroko na Hradčanech a Malé Straně

As part of an interactive walk, participants will learn to distinguish the characteristic elements of Baroque construction, which developed in the Czech Republic since the end of the Thirty Years' War (1648) until the first half of the 18th century. The organizer promises that at the end of the walk, participants will be able to know not only the distinctive elements characterizing the Baroque style, but also the difference between Jan Blažej Santini's manuscript from his competitors. Emphasis on the involvement of participants themselves . The guide will show the participants of the peculiarities of individual styles and according to specific elements will teach them to recognize them. At the end of the cycle, the participants should be able to determine the specific style themselves, including its time inclusion. The walk is intended for all active people interested in architecture , who do not just have to passively listen to the guide's interpretation and have a good physical condition. His early phase can be included in the period from the end of the Thirty Years' War (ie after 1648) to the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. Most Baroque monuments in the Czech Republic, however, come from the following peak period of the first half of the 18th century. However, from the Lesser Town and Hradčanské sidewalks, it is also possible to admire the beautiful facades from the late Baroque period, in several cases virtually unaffected by later modifications.
