On December 3rd, at 7pm at the Goethe-Institut Library, in Lisbon, we will mark the Day International Association of People with Disabilities, and there could not be a better date for the official presentation of Shifter Magazine #6.
The Shifter Magazine #6 is dedicated to Disability and Neurodiversity and following the maxim “nothing about us without us”, brings to paper texts written in the first person, by people with disabilities and/or neurodiverse people, who share their perspectives on various topics of common interest, but not only. To this set of reflections we added usual themes in Shifter, such as technology and visual cultures.
To present the magazine, we invited some of the authors of the articles to be present for a conversation with the editor of Shifter, Carolina Franco, about this edition and the need to talk and raise awareness more about this topic, and what is the most inclusive way to do so.
