A 180 KM CITY TRIP ON TWO WHEELS FROM THE HEART OF VIENNA TO THE HISTORIC CHARM OF BRATISLAVA

This isn’t just a bike ride; it’s a 180km exploration of nature, culture, and challenge along the Danube river where the best of two worlds come together. You ride a traverse route from the cosmopolitan city of Vienna, known from its imperial architecture, to the charming medieval styled city of Bratislava.

We kick things off in the hills of Vienna, weaving through quiet backroads and lush woodlands. With 1,800 meters of altitude gain, your legs will feel it — but the scenery will make every climb worth it. The route gently flattens as we trace the meandering Danube, a legendary river that has connected cultures for centuries. You'll ride through vineyards, sleepy river villages, and protected nature areas. As we enter Slovakia, the terrain begins to roll again — a final push through forested hills before we enter Bratislava via its cobbled roads.

At the end of it all, we'll have a festive after program with beers and the chance to share all experiences with fellow riders from the SYN Global Cycling Club.
