About event
Kurt Wagner, the frontman of the legendary lambopch, will present a band in a rare intimate concept - only accompanied by pianist Andrew Broder
Since its inception in 1986, lambop has become synonymous with originality and quality on the independent music scene. Originally they were classified under the Alt-country genre, but this box began to be small soon, as their music has incorporated over the years a wide range of influences-from soul to jazz to electronics. The band's composition has also changed considerably over the years - from large ensembles to more intimate lineups, from acoustic instruments to drums and vocoders - but one remained unchanged: Kurt Wagner: singer, composer and heart lambopch.

The Prague Sounds audience will hear it in a chamber format in which the pianist Andrew Broder, who has gained recognition as a producer and frontman of the FOG experimental band, joins Wagner. The couple reduced the lambopte arrangements to a minimum, which makes their emotional depth and strength of the musical background to excel. In addition, the atmospheric environment of the Prague X10 theater will offer a rare opportunity to experience Wagner's undeniable charisma close. Alt-country experiments Thriller and What Another Man Spills (1997, 1998), through Chamber Beauty of IS and Woman (2002), to experimenting with Electronics on the Flotus album. Lambop first introduced in the Czech Republic at Prague Sounds (formerly Strings) in 2017 and this year's concert will be their first return the time. They played everywhere from Barbican, London and the Royal Hall Royal Festival to the Viennese Conserthaus and Carnegie Hall in New York, as well as major festivals around the world. The autumn concert at the Prague Sounds - both musically and its atmosphere - promises an extremely close meeting.
