About event
Tomáš Hudák - Slovak stand-up comedian, screenwriter, presenter, copywriter and former journalist is well known thanks to his wide-ranging activities. His Silné reči make hundreds of viewers across Slovakia laugh.
However, he will come to our garden reading room to introduce himself as a writer. In 2025, his book Americans was published - a powerful novel about what Slovak immigrants had to sacrifice in order to win a dignified life in America - and to avoid becoming just an anonymous voiceless workforce abroad. Hosted by Dado Nagy.
