Amen / Mystérium o posvátném

If you stop and look, you will always see him. But if you try to touch it, you will never feel it. Even if you walk towards him, he stays the same distance from you. What is it?

Vladimir Benderski and [S]NOVÉ DIVADLO cordially invite you to an immersive site-specific theater happening.

AMEN / The Mystery of the Sacred is about what is sacred to people. About what is sacred for people in general, and also specifically what is sacred for each person personally.

The topic of the sacred is important and at the same time controversial, as it deeply affects what is sacred in each person.

We are convinced that each individual has something that is sacred to him, inviolable, immeasurable. For some it is their faith, religion, for some it is love or family, a child, animals, nature, a close person or even their dog.

The sacred is connected with a pilgrimage and the audience, together with the actors and dancers, will go on a magical pilgrimage combining butoh movement, dance, happening/performance, live music and words. The audience should move freely in the space, or even move to other spaces during the performance, led by a group of actors.
