Experiential evening and perfume ritual with Don Francisco Montes Shuña
Soft forest aromatherapy that helps to clear the head and thoughts. Treat yourself to a blossoming perfume ritual straight from the Amazon rainforest.
In the tradition of Amazonian healers, working with perfume medicine is used to cleanse and lighten the head. It is part of teachers' plant-based diets and traditional Amazonian rituals.
PERFUME MEDICINE
A gentle form of forest aromatherapy for the nose, mind and soul. It helps clarify thoughts, lighten old memories, purify intention and awaken dreaming.
PROCESS OF THE DINNER
In the beginning, we will talk about the effects and meaning of this ritual. This will be followed by purification with the smoke of the sacred mapacho tobacco.
Perfume medicine will be applied to the hands, décolleté, head and face. During the ritual, Don Francisco will sing the sacred healing songs of the icaros, which according to Amazonian tradition summon the energies of the spirits of the teaching plants.
PERFUME AND ITS TRADITION
Perfume medicine is an alcoholic macerate containing the essential oils and scents of twelve types of aromatic forest plants.
In order for the perfumero shaman to work with the perfume, he must connect with each of these plants during the shamanic sessions. diet in seclusion. The plants impart their songs, learning and technology to him. Only then is he authorized to use perfume as part of his healing work.
We will not drink perfume. It does not contain psychedelic substances and you can drive a car without any worries after the evening is over.
DON FRANCISCO
Don Francisco Orlando Montes Shuña comes from the Amazonian Capanahua tribe. He underwent the first ceremony as a child and dedicated his entire life to the study of teaching plants. Today he is considered a "grand maestro" (great teacher) and people from all over the world come to his center in Sachamama near Iquitos, Peru for healing and teaching.
Don Francisco speaks Spanish. The translation into Czech will be provided by his longtime student Gabriela Arbes.
