All Shapes

Cirqueon - The center for the new circus introduces Long Durational Performance on the border of movement installations. It is the culmination of the five -day Masterclass led by performer Eliška Brtnicka, which has long been engaged in artistic research in the field of contemporary circus. Shaped iron logs form a landscape into which the body is organically plunged and becomes part of it. Each object has a different shape, no two are the same, which applies to objects and bodies. The uniqueness of each shape resembles the originality of every person. There is a complex living organism, movement installation, where the impulses to move come from both sides: it is possible to see the object manipulated by the body, but also the body manipulated by the object, thus disappearing boundaries between the two. The world is one, everyone can affect and everyone is influenced. It is not a demonstration of skills, but the use of these techniques as tools to find a new artistic language and expression.
